Founder of Kasacombat Modern Mixed Martial Art | 10th Dan Grandmaster

Sensei David J. Kacperski is an internationally recognised martial arts instructor, coach, grading examiner, and founder of multiple martial arts organisations. With over four decades of experience across traditional and modern systems, he continues to shape and influence the martial arts community worldwide.

Martial Arts Journey

  • Began his martial arts training in 1982, studying Wado Ryu Karate-do with the National Sport and Traditional Karate Federation (N.S.T.K).
  • Competed extensively in kata and full-contact sparring across kickboxing and sport karate championships.
  • Transitioned to UKKW – United Kingdom Karate-do Wado-Kai, affiliated with Wado International Karate Federation (WIKF).
  • Trained under Sensei David Alsop (5th Dan) and later achieved:
    • 1st Dan Junior
    • 1st Dan Senior under the late Prof. Tatsuo Suzuki (8th Dan Hanshi).
  • Actively participated in seasonal courses and championships hosted by WIKF.

Organisational Leadership & Affiliations

  • Advanced through the ranks with English Karate Governing Body (EKGB).
  • Earned multiple coaching awards and accolades.
  • Founded KIKA – Kasakai International Karate Association, a traditional Wado Ryu Karate group, formerly part of NAKMAS and later affiliated with CMAA.
  • Established the World Bujutsu Federation (WBF) in 2004, supporting all martial arts styles globally.
    • Hosts seminars, national/international championships, and training events in:
      • Stand-up sparring
      • Grappling arts
      • Traditional kata/patterns

Kasacombat Modern Mixed Martial Art

In 2004, Sensei Kacperski launched Kasacombat (Kacperski Combat)—a unique martial art system blending techniques from:

  • Karate-do
  • Jujitsu
  • Kempo
  • Kobudo

Kasacombat was first officially recognised by the Cobra Martial Arts Association (CMAA) and later by:

  • 5 prominent UK martial arts federations
  • Hundreds of international Budo/Bujutsu organisations

Mentorship from Grandmasters Frank Schneider (Kempo, 10th Dan Hanshi), George Ross (Jujitsu, 10th Dan Hanshi), and Andrew Morrell (CMAA, 8th Dan) played a key role in the development of this system.
