Sally Kacperski of KMAA-DOJO has achieved a major milestone in her martial arts journey by earning the rank of 3rd Dan from the WKC World Karate / Kickboxing Council. This prestigious recognition reflects her technical skill, dedication, and years of disciplined training.
Since joining KMAA-DOJO as a senior student, Sally has stood out for her focus, precision, and leadership both in class and at competition. Under the guidance of senior instructors, she has honed her striking techniques, defensive tactics, and sparring strategies—qualities that the WKC Council looks for when awarding advanced Dan grades.
The promotion ceremony took place earlier this month, where Sally was presented with her official Black Belt Certificate by Master Instructors representing the WKC Council. In a brief address, they praised her perseverance and noted that her progress sets an inspiring example for fellow students at KMAA-DOJO.
Reflecting on her achievement, Sally said she feels honoured and motivated to continue growing. “Earning my 3rd Dan is a dream come true,” she shared. “I’m grateful to my coaches, training partners, and my family for their unwavering support. This is just the beginning—I want to help others reach their potential, too.”
KMAA-DOJO owner and chief instructor David Kacperski added that Sally’s promotion underscores the club’s commitment to excellence. “Sally exemplifies the spirit of martial arts,” he commented. “Her work ethic and positive attitude lift everyone around her. We’re proud to see her recognised on the world stage.”
With this new rank, Sally will take on greater teaching responsibilities at KMAA-DOJO’s Mansfield dojo and represent the club at international seminars and tournaments. The entire KMAA community looks forward to her continued achievements as both a competitor and coach.
