Students from KMAA Dojo in Mansfield made a remarkable showing at the World Bujutsu Federation (WBF) competition hosted on 18 May 2025. Under the guidance of Sensei David Kacperski, competitors excelled across multiple disciplines, bringing home medals and accolades that underscore the dojo’s growing reputation.

The event featured a diverse lineup of martial arts styles, with KMAA students competing in karate, Kasacombat, and kung fu categories. Beginners and experienced fighters alike showcased disciplined forms, lightning-fast sparring, and strategic self-defence techniques, reflecting the dojo’s comprehensive training programme.

Competitors traveled from across the region—including teams from Hull and Grimsby—adding to the tournament’s dynamic atmosphere. Despite the distance, every participant arrived energized and eager to represent Mansfield’s martial arts community on a larger stage.

The competition was met with enthusiastic support from spectators and fellow athletes. Cheers filled the arena as KMAA Dojo members demonstrated precision kicking, powerful combinations, and unwavering sportsmanship. Many attendees praised the event’s organisation and the spirit of camaraderie it fostered.

Reflecting on the day’s achievements, Sensei David Kacperski said, “I’m immensely proud of our students. They’ve trained hard, supported one another, and shown what KMAA Dojo stands for—discipline, respect, and excellence. Their success today is just the beginning.”

Looking ahead, KMAA Dojo plans to capitalise on this momentum with in-house training camps and preparation for next summer’s regional championships. The dojo continues to welcome new students of all ages and experience levels to discover the power and confidence that martial arts can bring.
