From 1–3 September 2017, Grandmaster Frank Schneider (10th Dan) hosted an international martial arts seminar in Germany. The event drew respected Grandmasters, Masters, and Sensei from across Europe, including France, Germany, and Belgium, all eager to share knowledge and techniques.

Representing British martial arts and KMAA-DOJO, Sensei David Kacperski (10th Dan) led several workshops that fused traditional karate foundations with Kasacombat Bujutsu’s dynamic self-defence methods. His sessions covered advanced striking patterns, close-quarters tactics, and partner drills designed to enhance timing and reflexes under pressure.

Participants praised Sensei Kacperski’s clear instruction style and hands-on corrections. Many noted how he broke down complex movements into digestible steps, making high-level concepts accessible to both seasoned instructors and newer black belts.

The seminar’s atmosphere balanced intense training with cultural exchange. Evenings featured round-table discussions on martial etiquette, lineage, and the modern evolution of combat arts in Europe. These dialogues reinforced a shared commitment to preserving tradition while adapting to contemporary self-defence needs.

As a highlight, Grandmaster Schneider presented commemorative certificates to all visiting instructors. This gesture acknowledged the mutual respect between schools and celebrated KMAA-DOJO’s ongoing contributions to the international martial arts community.

KMAA-DOJO extends heartfelt thanks to Grandmaster Frank Schneider and every martial artist who attended. The connections forged during these three days promise future collaborations, joint seminars, and a deeper unity among European dojos.
