Quest For The Best at Bolton Arena 6/11/05
Adam Beniston won a 3 foot trophy coming 1st in the Kata, and should have come 2nd in the U/70kg Points, but fought the eventual winner in his first fight, (David Noodles Hughes of Team Top Ten) losing to him 8-3, but got closer than anyone else, (the 2nd and 3rd place winners losing 10-0 and 9-2 respectively), It is unfortunate that the elimination system works the way it does and it has cost many of our teams fighters a place in the medals, when they deserved some recognition.
